Job Fair

Gorman & Company, when purchasing a former grocery store site to redevelop as housing, worked with the local neighborhood association and two adjacent area cities to hold a job fair benefitting area employers as well as neighborhood residents looking for sustained employment at living wages.  Over 50 area employers, in fields such as the skilled trades, manufacturing, financial services, retail, entertainment, and city and county services participated. The tremendous success of the job fair highlights Gorman & Company’s long standing tradition of creatively and openly working with communities to solve problems, meet community goals, and create sustainable and revitalized developments.
